HOW TO USE BLACK MERIDIAN
MASTER THE INFINITE BOARD AND VISUAL LOGIC.
1. ADDING & DELETING NODES
Nodes are the fundamental building blocks of your workspace. They act as chat interfaces, text holders, and file containers.
- Drag and drop a node from the left sidebar to add it to the board.
- Click on a node to focus on it.
- Resize a node by dragging its corner.
- To delete a node, right-click and press 'Delete', or focus on the node and press the 'Delete' key.
2. LINKING & UNLINKING NODES
Connect nodes to establish logical flows and relationships.
- Click and drag from the connection port of one node to the port of another to create a link.
- To unlink nodes, select the connecting line and press the 'Delete' key, or right-click the line and select 'Delete'.
3. PASSING CONTEXT
Share context between nodes to create chained workflows and complex AI reasoning.
- When nodes are linked, the child node automatically receives the context of its parent.
- Upload files to a node to pass document context to all subsequent connected nodes.
- Use edge labels to explicitly define how context should be interpreted by the AI.
4. SPLITTING & MERGING DIALOG
Run parallel thought processes and combine ideas back together.
- After the AI model replies, press '+' to start the next message.
- To create a branch, wait for the '⑃' button to appear and click it.
- You can maintain up to two branches on the Free tier, and unlimited branches on Pro and other plans.
- To merge two branches, place the two chat nodes close together and wait for the merge button to appear.
